HOW TO CARE AND CLEAN ITEMS

In order for resin-made items to remain beautiful and in perfect condition, we recommend trying to keep them away from hot water (shower), chemicals, and direct sunlight.

The natural algae encapsulated inside will keep their shape and pigmentation unchanged for years, since they have been previously pressed and are isolated from oxidation processes.

Resin jewelry is made to be worn, worn and enjoyed, but like any craft item that makes it unique and highly exclusive, it should be treated with care and follow a number of recommendations:

STAY AWAY FROM CHEMICALS

Resin items should not be cleaned with alcohol, acetone, or other solvents. The external PH also affects them, so it is important to avoid, as much as possible, contact with perfumes, deodorants, lacquers, body creams ... This can damage the shiny surface of the articles.

PROTECT FROM DIRECT EXPOSURE TO THE SUN

Avoid exposing items to extreme heat sources. Items are strong and durable, but care must be taken not to overheat. We use transparent resin and high quality tints with protection from the ultra violet rays of the sun, but prolonged exposure to these can produce a slight loss of color.

However, because the resin becomes malleable at high temperatures, the opening of the bracelets can be adjusted by introducing them in hot tap water. They open or close and then at room temperature they are allowed to cool and the bracelet recovers its initial hardness and fragility.

CLEANING

To clean the silver plated zamak accessories (magnetic clasps, carabiner clasps, balls, ...) or sterling silver (chains, ring bases, earrings, ...) you can use a metal cleaning suede. If the resin surface loses its shine, it can be cleaned with an eyeglass wipe (microfiber cloths.

CONSERVATION

To keep your jewelry looking like new, we recommend storing it in an individual cotton bag, suede, closed box, etc., to avoid contact with direct light or moisture.
